James Nicholls
Managing Director

James has served as an executive, entrepreneur and investor in healthcare firms across numerous international markets. Having served in increasingly senior healthcare roles at KPMG, The Advisory Board Company, and Standard & Poor's, he founded Fitzroy Health, which partners with leading health systems to build companies that improve the access, quality and affordability of healthcare. James sits on the Board of RJ Health Systems, Emu Learning and the Advisory Board of Compliance Meds Technologies. James was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at The Wharton School 2009 WEC Expo and has been profiled by the Financial Times. James holds a BA from The University of Melbourne and a joint MBA from London Business School and Columbia Business School.

James has worked across the health care sector to launch new businesses, accelerate growth, and transform performance of existing assets. He sits on the Boards of AgeWell Global, Emu Learning and Care Values. Prior to joining Fitzroy, James was a strategy and marketing consultant in the health care practice at McKinsey & Company.  Prior to joining McKinsey, James was Director on the Faculty of the Advisory Board Academies. He earned an MBA in Health Care Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. James also holds an A.B. from Princeton University.

Jon Evans

Jon Evans has held senior clinical, management, consulting and strategy leadership positions across Australian, National and International Health Care systems and related industry for over 20 years in both operational and policy settings across public and private sector. With a background in psychology and business administration he has operational experience from direct clinical practice through to leading a public health infectious disease research and reference agency and subsequently a large Metropolitan Health Service. He has consulted for international health care systems and private industry. Prior to founding Fitzroy Health’s Asia-Pacific practice, Jon was appointed to the position of Director of Health Strategy in 2010 within the Department of Health, and subsequently the Director of the Office of Health Innovation and Reform on behalf of the Victorian Government. joining Kaplan, Rolla spent 10 years in marketing, product, and  editorial roles at Elsevier Health Sciences.
